Radon is the second leading cause of Lung cancer in the United States behind smoking and is the number one cause of lung cancer among nonsmokers. The State of Minnesota has a statewide average that is three times that of the national average. It is estimated that 40% of the homes in Minnesota have readings above the EPA's action level of 4.0 pCi/l. Please visit the Minnesota Department of Health, indoor air quality unit, and the EPA's website for more information on this very important environmental concern. https://www.epa.gov/radon

We use the industry-leading Sun Radon 1028-XP monitors to gain a highly accurate reading on the home you are considering. Testing takes 48 hours to complete. Additionally, 1028-XP monitors have the capability to also measure humidity, barometric pressure, temperature, and will detect if it is moved. These additional features ensure that the test is accurate and true. Finally, because we use the latest industry technology we can read and review your test results the same day the test is complete and do not have to send a canister or vile off to a secondary lab for analysis.
